These two are pretty early in the process, having only been partially reviewed, but we wanted to share them anyway because we’re pretty excited about the direction our DNA support is going.  I’ll show you the screen mockups first and then discuss them a little.

NOTE: As with all early drafts we release, these images are just mockups, so they’re not pixel-perfect, don’t contain “real data” and for the most part do not include color.  We use these just to convey intention and a view of the overall user interface.

First up is the DNA Match screen.  This screen allows you to view information about DNA matches you’re retrieved from any DNA site.

The Legend at the bottom is not a part of the screen, but can help you understand what all of the icons and colors mean on the screen.

The second screen is the Ghost Tree page.

This page allows you to see your tree and a Ghost Tree side-by-side so that you can compare the two.  You can see details about any person by running your mouse over the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of their box.  Notice, too, that certain boxes are highlighted.  This is showing you common surnames between the two trees.  You can configure which common surnames (if any) are highlighted with the controls at the top of the page.

We’ll have much more to say about both of these screens as we progress. For now, let us know what you think in the comments.
